RESEARCH STUDY SEEKING PARTICIPANTS
The purpose of this study is to understand how individuals with eating disorders track and reflect on their conditions.
We are looking for participants for an interview study. The interview will last approximately 30 to 60 minutes and may be conducted in person or via Skype (or other video chat). During the interview, you will be asked questions about the history of your condition, the treatment you are receiving for it, your interactions with others, how you track or reflect on your condition and the progress of your treatment, and your general use of communication technologies, such as social media. We will also ask for contact information the clinician(s) from whom you receive treatment, as well as key member(s) of your support network. After the interview, you will be asked to respond to periodic text messages that ask you to describe recent interactions with members of your support network. As compensation for participating in the study, you will receive $20 in Amazon gift cards – $15 after the interview, and $5 at the end of the text message portion.
