TJ Raney, PhD is Associate Clinical Director in the Eating Disorders Program in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a clinical psychologist with the partial hospitalization and outpatient eating disorders programs. Dr. Raney received his BA in philosophy from Dartmouth University in 1991, his MA and PhD degrees in clinical psychology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and completed his clinical psychology internship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Prior to joining the UNC team in 2005, Dr. Raney was the Director of the Eating Disorders program at University of Arkansas for Medical Services, Department of Pediatrics. He is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders and the Society of Adolescent Medicine.
