Are you a woman between the ages of 18-25 who binge eats or overeats?
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking volunteers for a research study examining eating behaviors across the menstrual cycle.
If you are interested in participating in the study, you will be asked to complete a series of questionnaires and a brief interview about a range of eating behaviors at UNC. You will then be asked to complete daily questionnaires, throughout the course of the day, in the comfort of your own home. At the end of the study period you will return to UNC to discuss your experience participating in the study and return any study materials you might have. The time you will spend at appointments at UNC will be approximately 1-hour. It will take you approximately 25-minutes daily to complete the daily questionnaires. At the completion of the study you may receive up to $125 for completing the study.
You may be eligible if:
- You are a women between the ages of 18-25
- Binge eat or overeat
- Are not currently taking birth control
- Have a regular menstrual cycle
Study participation requires two in person appointments and in home self-assessments. Eligible participants may be compensated up to $125 at study completion.
