The University of North Carolina Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (UNC CEED) is now accepting applications for summer fellowships. These positions will be open for competitive applicants interested in an 8-week, 40 hours a week experience working in Dr. Bulik’s lab. Summer research fellowships are highly competitive positions that are open to undergraduate, current graduate, and postgraduate students. Those accepted to the program will receive a $2,500 stipend upon completion of their time at UNC and will be given project and mentor assignments based on relevant experiences and future work interests. Please be aware that housing is NOT provided for this fellowship. Schedules will be planned in advance and will include several trainings relevant to the eating disorders field to help facilitate future work. Fellows will be required to attend our weekly research meetings, journal club and post-doctoral research seminars. One to two summer fellows are typically selected each year.
Fellowship applicants are required to submit a completed application form, one letter of recommendation, a current CV, and a current academic transcript. Detailed instructions can be found on the first page of the application.
